It is easy to get Electric Guitar shape pendant or decorative items everywhere, as electric guitar already got an interesting shape, compare to electric guitar, the shape of an acoustic guitar seems to be.... boring :( As I am acoustic guitar addicted, always try to get myself a pendant, never consider about getting a electric guitar 1, so, I found these from the web, someone with jewelry making skill can maybe consider make 1 for themselve :)

Take a Bath? Take a Bath Fingerstyle Trip!!

Get a chance to visit to Bath, a place take took 11 minutes to reach by train apart from Bristol. Actually the trip was about to visit the Bath's Christmas Market. The stalls didn't amazed me, as Bristol's Christmas Market got more decoration, but the talents on the street did!!

I met Ben Powell, a fingerstyle guitarist based in Bath, at a very beautiful corner, with the light on the top, sorry I was too concentrate on his music that I forgot to shoot any photos.

A little contribution and support to guitar talent, £10 for the CD, and a serendipity, such a bargain!!

Acoustic Guitar String

Always frustrated when standing in front of a bunch of different brand and specs guitar strings? Here's some basic info for rookies~

Although the strings that most acoustic guitars use are commonly called "steel strings" (and they do have steel cores), the wound strings will almost always be wound with bronze. Acoustic guitar strings are either phosphor bronze, which has a warm tone and tends to keep its tone a little longer, or 80/20 bronze, which sounds a bit brighter and loses its brightness a bit faster. Because of this, the wound acoustic strings are not steel colored, but instead appear different shades of gold, which is the natural color of bronze.

First of all, the type of string:

80/20 Bronze

80/20 Bronze is a common type of acoustic guitar string, the 80/20 is the proportion of the alloy. The colour is golden, deliver a very bright sound. You can also see 85/15 bronze on the market.

I bought this guitar from ebay... as wel~ as when I saw it is a 120 Anniversary limited edition, I just bid on it, then I won without any other competitor!!! A tips for people who finding guitar on ebay, start your search at minimum of price £200, where you can find good quality guitar and with less people looking at, as they'll probably look for cheap bargain guitar below £100 or high end guitar above £1,000.

The seller wrap really carefully on the case, so excited when seeing at the reception counter of my accommodation~~
