Just receive my <KOTARO OSHIO 10th Anniversary BEST> album, here's a little unboxing info.

I've bought from a Korean seller, so it came with the original Japanese album, with a paper of Korean translation, neither do these I could understand :( the saddest thing... anyway, here's the unboxing review.

As a very productive fingerstyle player, Kotaro Oshio didn't release any new album this year, but we got a 10th year anniversary collection. Unlike the <Blue Sky - KOTARO OSHIO Best Album> Kotaro Oshio re-recorded all of the songs in this new collection album. Disc 1 is an Upper side, which contains most of his best lively and energetic songs, and Disc 2 Ballade side is sentimental songs. And a DVD with short film "Mother".

I personally prefer all of his previous recording, his play and recording in this album seems to be more "raw", maybe that's the most precious part in music recording, play with all the ability without making touch up in post-editing? You can see the song he chose had contain his creativity across 10 years, which the musician himself improve and invent new playing style and skills across this 10 years as well, so playing an old song with new skills, there's must be some awkward part that does not affect the audience to enjoy his beautiful music.

and the DVD, "mother", as an accompany video to the music, the plot is something like this: The daughter with very lame cooking skill... when back to visit her sicked mother... the daughter cook for her mother... seems very aweful... 1 day the daughter go out... came back... saw her mother fall on ground... later she go out again... the mother took out a book... then the mother passed away... the daughter came back... discover that book as her mother's diary... read... cry... end... then she know how to cook...

and the DVD come along with another 2 video clip, Kotaro Oshio playing "Mother" featuring some of the scene from the short film, and "Relation!" as a new song.
