Just receive my <KOTARO OSHIO 10th Anniversary BEST> album, here's a little unboxing info.

I've bought from a Korean seller, so it came with the original Japanese album, with a paper of Korean translation, neither do these I could understand :( the saddest thing... anyway, here's the unboxing review.

Andres Godoy, musician, guitarist, songwriter, Musical producer, cultural manager, was born in San Antonio (Port), Chile. At age 10 his grandparents Manuel and Maria gave him his first guitar. From there he had tutors with whom he learned many different styles and techniques of popular and classical guitar.

At 14, Andres had an accident in which lost all of his right arm. But through the passion, imagination, perseverance, creativity and daily practice, so Andres invented a technique for self taught guitar in one hand and sequences based on series of strokes, percussion, pulls, scrapes, strumming with which was creating rhythms, harmonies, songs, music. This technique named it Tatap. But Tatap is only an instrument of the spirit of passion, imagination, endless and unwavering love for the music of Andres, the beauty, harmony.

In the beginning of your guitar learning journey, your teacher will usually persuadeyou to buy this, because it is cheap, and easy carrying:

Basic Strumming Pattern

The difference of strumming and plucking is plucking just sound a few specific strings while strumming is to let several strings sound simultaneously. Once you have know a few chords, here's a practice for you to practice the changing of the chord of your left hand with strumming. Just practice with C Major Key and A Minor Key. Strum by plectrum or finger.

Play according to tempo, increase speed slowly. Accent notes are not crucial at this moment.

Part A, B, C are to show the direction of your right hand. Basically you just have to swing your hand, up and down, and decide which beat you want the guitar to sound. I separated into 2 parts, while the right part I used a tie note to show the beat, as you can see, all the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th beat is down, and 2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th is up.

Part D, E should be played by differentiate the bass strings (4th , 5th, 6th strings) and treble strings (1st, 2nd, 3rd strings).

Part F is a slapping technique, just slap your hand onto the string to let it hit on the fret and create the slapping sound.

Part G is a triplets rhythm.

当你学会左手按和弦之后，就能开始这个扫弦练习，根据节拍慢慢加快速度。用弹片或者手指来扫。这个时候加重音还不是那么重要，能够弹出的话也很好。

Right Hand Practice 1

Everyday exercise for your right hand. This practice is use to train a player to be familiar to his right hand position.just repeatedly play each part.

Part D need to use your right middle finger and ring finger to pluck the string at the same time, and Part E need to use your right index finger and middle finger to pluck the string at the same time.

这练习旨在让右手熟悉每一只手指的位置。重复的弹奏每一段即可。

Part D 和 Part E会用到两根手指同时拨弦。

relax your left hand, do not move your right hand, only move your finger.

左手基本上可放松。右手，只移动各手指，手腕以上的部分不要移动，保持放松，手指尽量不要有太大的动作。

以后只要左手加入和弦，这些就是最基本的伴奏手法啦~~

Left Hand Practice 1

For beginner, just use your right thumb to play every notes.

Part A is just Fret Climbing practice, just use every finger to play it.

Part B is a variation of C Major Scale, this exercise doesn't need your left little finger, just make sure you use left index finger to play all the 1st fret, middle finger to play all the 2nd fret, 3rd finger to play all the 3rd fret.

Part A 就是传说中的爬格子啦！！
练习的要诀是每一个音都能衔接的很顺畅，速度由慢至快。着重在练手力，所以速度保持匀速就行。

Part B是简易的C大调音阶，这里不需要用到左手尾指。练习要诀是用食指按第一品、中指按第二品、无名指按第三品。着重在让左手熟悉位置。

全部用右手拇指拨弦即可，熟悉了的话可用各手指或拨片弹奏。

Ignore the humming. Can also play with plectrum or all fingers of your right hand.

视频Part A我把左手食指伸上去只是为了灭掉恼人的humming，可无视这个动作。练习时要注意姆指的位置。

Restring an Acoustic Guitar

I always saw guitar rookie asking about restring guitar on forum, are you lazy or what? Can't even finish such an easy task? you should learn to DIY!!!

I restring my Washburn with Gibson Masterbuilt Premium 012. As the action of this guitar is very low, 012 is recommended. Not suggested to string 012 if your guitar is not good enough as it will give too much tension to the neck, and too much pressure to your finger. Normally 010 or 011 is OK.

And it is suggested to change all the string together instead on just changing only 1 or 2 of the string, because after days of playing the tension of the string change, and changing several string affect the balancing of the tone.

Step 1: Take off all the string

First of all, take off all the strings. It is not always recommended to do this because once every string is took off and put back again it give extra tension to the neck which is a harm. But there's reason to do this today, tell you later.

A song composed by Kotaro Oshio and featured in his latest album Hand to Hand. Like this song so much, but couldn't find the original score at all, try to arrange i myself.

I play this with a 5 string partial capo which the 6 string will be D, you can just play with capo 3 and play the 4th string as D.

这首曲子一听就爱上了！！！！但苦苦寻觅不到原谱（alternate tuning: E♭B♭E♭A♭B♭E♭），自己爬了个标准调弦的。这里用了一个五弦的Dropped D partial capo，好让Dm7这个和弦能够得到更低的bass。选用partial capo的话，Em这个和弦就会变得比较难按，在这首曲子选用partial capo是因为频繁出现的Dm7和弦。

谱子刚扒出来错误有点多，视频只为给个概念，有兴趣要弹的朋友自己照着谱子即兴一下吧~

切音的部分用attack mute来弹奏会更有节奏感哦！！！喜欢这首曲子里使用到的Gaugmented（321003 Gaug / G+）和弦，在C key里尝试加入这个和弦有不一样的效果哦！！可当做G之后的G7来用。

弹奏此曲或许您需要以下技巧：
Attack Mute：弯曲右手中指与无名指，然后用指甲敲打2、3弦。与一般切音不同的是，此种切音法能够保持着bass。
T.H.：Tapping Harmonic，用右手食指与指板呈90°的方式打在有泛音的品格之上。
A.H.：Artificial Harmonic，左手按弦的同时，右手用食指点在泛音格上同时用无名指（或食指）勾弦。

How to read Guitar Tablature

Sight-reading of guitar tablature is extremely easy, unlike standard notation, the tablature straight away tells you which fretboard to press and which string to play. The disadvantage of only learning guitar tablature is one will become a theory dummy even after so many years playing guitar, but anyway, learning guitar tablature is a must to learn playing guitar. We try to play all the songs, then later we will look into the theory.

Let's start:

Guitar tablature is also called as "6 string score", as it already have 6 lines, and each line represent every string of the guitar, the first line represent the first string, second line represent the second sting, and so the following.

So when you see a "2" on the third line of the guitar tablature, it means that you will have to play the second fret of the third string of the guitar.
